Kate Grimes started working in the area of intellectual disabilities in 2005. She qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2010 and as a BCBA in 2016. Kate is the owner and Clinical Director of Inspire Therapy, a multi-disciplinary service, providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents with a range of learning, communication, and developmental disabilities. Kate set up Inspire Therapy in 2015 to support families in Dubai.
Kate enjoys training others in the fundamentals of Applied Behaviour Analysis and has completed a number of Registered Behaviour Technician training courses with her own team and with the wider community. She is a certified Professional Crisis Management Instructor and has delivered training courses to support those working with challenging/ crisis behaviour.
Kate supports a multi-disciplinary team of BCBAs, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, RBTs, and Learning Support Assistants in her role as Clinical Director. Kate has practical experience in using the principles of Organisational Behaviour Management to support her team.
